Tuğrul DİRİMTEKİN

Tuğrul Dirimtekin completed his undergraduate education at Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences. Following postgraduate studies in accounting and auditing at Bursa Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, he earned the title of Doctor in 1976 and Associate Professor in 1978. During his postgraduate studies, while undertaking professional work in London, he received language training in professional terminology at the Pitman School of English.

In 1983, he left his academic post at Uludağ University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences to gain private-sector experience. For many years, he worked as a senior executive responsible for financial affairs at foreign-owned companies in the textile and automotive industries.

In 1991, he returned as a faculty member to Uludağ University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Following the enactment of Professional Law No. 3568, he left his full-time university post, founded his own office as a Sworn-in CPA in 1992 and entered the audit profession.

In subsequent years, alongside his professional work, he taught accounting, audit and tax at various faculties as a lecturer. During this period, he served as President of the Bursa Chamber of Sworn-in CPAs from 1992 to 2000. From 2011, he continued his work through the Bursa Branch of Grant Thornton Türkiye / Engin Yeminli Mali Müşavirlik A.Ş. and Eren Bağımsız Denetim A.Ş.

Since November 2024, he has been the authorized representative of the Bursa Branch of Istanbul-headquartered Centrum Denetim Yeminli Mali Müşavirlik ve Danışmanlık A.Ş. He continues his professional activities under the Bursa Chamber of Sworn-in CPAs and has published numerous books and articles on professional subjects.
