Gökhan Yurdakul graduated from the Department of Economics at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He began his professional career in 2004 as a Customs Expert at the General Directorate of Customs under the Undersecretariat of Customs. For more than ten years, he worked in customs valuation and taxation departments, actively contributing to the preparation of customs legislation and regulations governing customs valuation and taxation practices. During this period, he also delivered numerous training sessions and seminars on customs valuation and taxation.
Between 2009 and 2011, he completed his MBA at Southern New Hampshire University in the United States. He also authored a customs expertise thesis entitled 'Transfer Pricing and Its Comparison with Customs Valuation.'
In 2015, he joined PwC's Indirect Tax Department as a Manager and was promoted to Director in 2019. During his nine years at PwC, he provided comprehensive customs and international trade advisory services to hundreds of companies, including leading organizations across various industries.
In May 2024, he left PwC to establish his own advisory firm, continuing to provide specialized services in customs and international trade. With over 20 years of professional experience, Yurdakul also holds an Authorized Customs Consultant Certificate issued in Türkiye.
