Ayla İpekoğlu graduated from Ankara University's Faculty of Political Sciences in 1992. She passed the entrance examination held in 1993 and began working as an Assistant Tax Account Expert; after passing the qualification examination, she was appointed Tax Account Expert.
From her appointment as Senior Tax Account Expert in 2003 until the end of 2018, she conducted senior-level tax inspections of Türkiye's leading large taxpayers. During this period, she also served for an extended period as Chair of the Report Evaluation Commission.
She has continued to work as a Sworn-in CPA since the beginning of 2019. She is married and has two children. She has a good command of English.
